Some items being sold are being supplied from overseas suppliers and are not directly marketed in New Zealand. These items are classed as Parallel Import products. It is important that you read and understand the below information before making a purchase.

All items in our store that are Parallel Imported will be clearly marked in the product description.

Why Parallel Import ?

We have chosen to Parallel Import certain products that are not distributed in NZ in order to give our customers more options. 

The smart home market is massive and ever growing; unfortunately, with New Zealand being a relatively small market, we often don't get products released here or we have to wait an extremely long time to get them.

If and when these products become available via NZ based supply chains we will stop Parallel Importing these products and source locally.
We have been extremely careful to only select products that don't break local laws and regulations.

We won't sell Parallel imported goods that don't comply with the following:

• Must operate in the approved radio frequency bands in New Zealand. (Unfortunately this rules out a lot of Z-wave products)

• Must be compatible with 230-240V power.

• Must comply with AS/NZS 3000 wiring standard

What's the difference between Parallel Imported goods and non Parallel Imported goods?
The main difference is for Parallel imported goods the manufacturer of the product has not officially released this product into the New Zealand market.

This can be for a number of reasons but the most common reason is they don't have the local distribution or supply chain set up.
It is important to note the manufacturer has no obligation to support these products in NZ as they never released it into our market. 
Non Parallel Imported goods is anything that is directly released and marketed in New Zealand. The manufacturer has distribution and supply chain setup in New Zealand and fully support the product locally.
 

Shipping Time   

We generally ship these items directly from our suppliers overseas. Unfortunately this means shipping times can be unpredictable and can take anywhere between 35-45 days.

Parallel Import Warranty Policy
BE Automation will fulfill all of our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
All Parallel Imported products carry a standard 1 year warranty. All accessories carry a 3 month warranty.
Our warranty works on a Return To Base basis. This means that should a fault occur with your product, it will need to be returned to us for assessment.
Once we have received an item, we will book the item in and send to an independent service agent for assessment. All items are repaired if possible, if a repair is not possible or feasible, we will arrange a replacement item, if a replacement is not possible we will arrange a credit or refund.
Any repair/replacement comes with a minimum of 90 days warranty. Any cover after 90 days is dependent on the date of the original purchase.

Warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Liquid/Moisture, sand/dust, impact or any other damage will not be covered under the warranty.
